Who is responsible

When you just read this page
Our server records the request: your IP address, the time, the page, your browser and operating system. We use this to deliver the page and keep the site secure. These records are deleted after days.
We use no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking of any kind. Nothing on this site loads from a third party server — the fonts, the images and the script all come from us. We do not sell or share personal information, and we never have.
What we store on your device
One entry, and only if you press the light and dark switch yourself: your chosen appearance. It stays in your browser, it never reaches us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
When you join the notification list
We store your email address to send you development updates. Nothing else. Every message carries a one-click way out, and leaving deletes your address.
When you write to us
We store your name, your email address and your message so that we can answer you. We delete the exchange once the matter is closed and no legal obligation requires us to keep it.
When you reserve or order
Stripe processes the payment and receives the data it needs for that. We receive your name, your email address, your delivery address and what you reserved. We keep those records as long as tax and commercial law require.
Formwerk ships worldwide, so your data may be processed in a country other than your own. Stripe's own terms apply to their part of it.
Your rights, wherever you are
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy
- Have anything wrong corrected
- Have your data deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it
- Tell us to stop using it for something you did not ask for
- Take a complaint to the authority responsible for you
Residents of California have these rights under the CCPA and CPRA, and residents of the European Union and the United Kingdom under the GDPR. We give the same rights to everyone else, because splitting people into those who get privacy and those who do not is not a policy we want.
